Ingredients
500ml Liddells Lactose Free Full Cream Milk |
¼-½ cup sugar - we use ¼ cup, if you like your custard super sweet add ½ cup |
1 tsp vanilla paste or 1 vanilla pod |
2 eggs |
30g cornflour |
1 tsp lemon rind - optional |
Directions
Add vanilla and milk to a pan on medium heat and bring just to the boil. If using lemon rind add in now.Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
In a separate bowl combine eggs, cornflour and sugar and add to milk mixture.
Cook on low heat for approx. 20 minutes or until thickened, stirring continuously.
